The Steeple Chase Flyer has approx. 15cm thickness of birch.
As with all our brush fences the birch is packed very tightly, making it attractive and more importantly long lasting.
We do advise not keeping any brush fences in with livestock as they do have a tendancy to eat it!
The height x spread is the size of the timber frame with the birch adding an approximate 15cm, 20cm, 30cm, 45cm to your choosing, although we do recommend keeping to the shorter birch for fences 45cm & 60cm.
The Steeple chase flyer shown here is with a pair of Steeple Chase Sides, these you can use as wings if you like by adding a knock down pole.
We also give the option to have the top and bottom rails either left rustic as shown or stained red to stand out against the birch.

Construction & Specification
All our Cross Country fences are made from pressure treated timbers for longer life. We recommend treating with an external preservative every couple of years thereafter.
All are constructed to stand just above the ground to allow the use of Fork lifts although they can be carried short distances with two or three people.
A full specification for each design is available on request. All framing is bolted and screwed.
2.4m or shorter lengths are one single section
3m and 3.6m lengths are available in either one single section or two equal sized sections.
We recommend if possible that single section fences are requested when using anchors.
