This jump can be approached from either direction giving either the scoop approach or the dished approach.
The Flat birch design as shown right adds 25cm to the jumping height.
With the Horseshoe birch design the birch curves down from approx 80cm above the frame to a central jumping height at again 25cm above the frame as shown above.
So for example if you select a 70cm fence, the jumping height of both designs will be 95cm.
Length
The Semi circle is 2.4m at the widest point.
When cut into a horseshoe the birch gives a jumping section of approx 1.2m wide.

Construction & Specification
All our Cross Country fences are made from pressure treated timbers for longer life. We recommend treating with an external preservative every couple of years thereafter.
All are constructed to stand just above the ground to allow the use of Fork lifts although they can be carried short distances with two or three people.
A full specification for each design is available on request. All framing is bolted and screwed.
